Aaron Matthew SKELTON

After working his way up through the ranks at Luton, great things were expected of Aaron but a succession of injuries, including a particularly nasty torn thigh muscle, sidelined him for long periods and meant that Hatters fans were rarely able to see the talented midfielder at his best.
A change of club, a free transfer to Colchester in 1997, saw his luck turn and he became a big favourite at Layer Road but he was quick to move back to Luton four years later on a ‘Bosman’.
Sadly, the injury jinx struck again and he made only 17 League appearances in two years back at Kenilworth Road before moving on to Havant & Waterlooville in 2003 and then finishing his playing career at Poole Town.
