The Town are unlucky to lose to the Blues in front of a partisan crowd. The home side enjoy most of the play but the Hatters defend well and chances are kept down to a minimum. A hit-and-hope ball into the wind by Gary Pendrey in the dying seconds is latched onto by Bob Hatton.
