Gordon Riddick
Gordon Riddick Date of Birth: Nov 6, 1943 Share "Gordon Riddick" on FacebookWatford born Gordon came to Luton as a 17 year old and worked his way up through the ranks at Kenilworth Road before making his League debut in a 1-2 defeat at Rotherham in December 1962.
Gordon made over 100 first team appearances for the Hatters over the next five years but the crowd never warmed to him despite his whole-hearted effort and some vital goals.
Gillingham paid a record fee to take him to Priestfield in 1967 and from there he played for a further four clubs in fairly quick succession, finishing with Brentford.
A minor counties cricketer of note, Gordon ran his own building firm as well as working behind the scenes on Sky TV sports events. Gordon sadly passed away in 2018.
