HATTERS’ HERITAGE – Fund raising campaign
Hatters’ Heritage is a charity whose aim is to preserve the heritage and history of Luton Town Football Club. The Heritage Lottery Fund enabled us to launch the website which we believe will be the most comprehensive of any club in the country when completed. Whilst we benefit from the unpaid work of volunteers, we need funds to pay for hosting and maintaining the website, insurance of the memorabilia collection and various licenses such as Adobe. We also need to build up a fund to purchase important memorabilia. We are therefore launching a fund raising campaign and we need your help.
- Membership is currently set at £10 per adult per annum or £2 for those under-16.
- 10p A DAY will go a long way to securing the future of Hatters’ Heritage. The committee therefore recommends membership at £3 per month.
- Patrons – Anyone paying more than £3 per month, or equivalent donation, will become a Patron. You may write a few lines on a website page including a photo of your choice plus free entry to events and an 1885 walking tour.
PAYMENT
IMPORTANT - If you have not done so already, and are a UK tax payer, please complete the Gift Aid form which boosts our income by 25%. The form is on our website and should be signed and returned to us. Or email enquiries@hattersheritage.co.uk for help.
A number of people have already kindly gifted a donation via the ‘donate’ button on the website which leads to our PayPal account. They will automatically be included as Patrons. Our Charity number is 1183061 for those who use the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF).
Kindly spread the word with family and friends as we will need help in the coming years not least with the proposed Museum at Power Court. Please point out that since launch over 50 full seasons have been added to the site, together with player profiles back to 1885, full stats, features, memorabilia, videos and much more. We are now getting over 25000 ‘hits’ per month and rising and feel sure you would agree the website is something to be proud of and something you want to be part of.
