Terry Adamson

Terence (Terry) ADAMSON

After appearing for Sunderland in the 1966 Youth Cup final, Terry was not retained by the Roker Park outfit and was snapped up, along with Brian Johnson, by Luton manager George Martin in July 1966 as cover for full-backs Bobby Thomson and Fred Jardine.
Terry made his Luton debut nine months later in a 1-1 home draw with Port Vale and made one further appearance that season, in a 0-2 defeat at Southend, before moving on to Hartlepools United that summer.
Linking up with his older brother Keith at Scarborough soon afterwards, he then played for South Shields and spent 12 seasons with Murton. He then became an upholstery supplier based in Sunderland.
