Harold (Harry) ANDREWS

Born in Lincoln in 1903, Harry had enjoyed a long career before coming to Kenilworth Road in 1935.
Turning out for Lincoln, Notts County and Barnsley (with the latter two he won championship medals for Division Three South and Division Three North) he had accumulated over 300 League appearances but only played once for the Town – against Southend in September 1935.
An inside forward with a strong left foot shot and good in the air he left Luton in June 1936 and joined Accrington where he made another 65 League appearances.
After retiring, Harry worked for Players Tobacco in Nottingham and passed away in 1988.
