West London born Adrian joined Norwich from school and made over 100 League appearances for the Canaries, albeit many as substitute, before a shock £60,000 move took him to Luton in 2001 just as the Hatters were about to embark on their first season in the basement since 1968.

A fast, strong player who was equally at home on the wing or in a central striking role, Adrian was a regular as the Town won immediate promotion but then a bad knee injury in a pre-season friendly killed the following campaign and when he came back he was not an automatic choice.

A move to Swansea followed in 2004 and from there came spells at Millwall, Grimsby and Lowestoft before becoming an academy coach at Norwich and subsequently at Kenilworth Road.
