Alan Harper Date of Birth: Nov 1, 1960 Share "Alan Harper" on FacebookLiverpool born Alan started off as an apprentice with the Reds but made his League debut for the Blues and earning two League championship medals and an F.A Cup winners medal whilst at Goodison Park.
The steady and unspectacular right back or right midfielder then made big money moves to Sheffield Wednesday and Manchester City before returning to Everton and then on to Luton on a free transfer in 1993.
His calm influence and experience proved a godsend to a young Luton side which won through to the F.A.Cup semi-final in 1994 but Alan wished to return north and joined Burnley that summer.
After finishing on the playing side, Alan coached at Burnley before going back to Everton in a similar capacity. Subsequent coaching and scouting roles followed at Bolton and Liverpool.
