Albert Deacon
Albert Deacon Share "Albert Deacon" on FacebookBorn in Luton in 1865, Albert played for Luton Wanderers from its earliest days and became a founder member of the new Town club in 1885 along with his brother George.
Albert played at inside-forward in the club’s first competitive game, an FA Cup tie at Marlow in 1885, as well as a number of friendly fixtures.
Albert remained in Luton and worked for 50 years at Hayward-Tyler and passed away in 1953.
