Albert Charles Richards Date of Birth: Jul 18, 1903 Share "Albert Richards" on FacebookBorn in Chatham in 1903, Albert was a right winger who made four attempts at making it into the Football League only to be thwarted on each occasion and returning to his first club Chatham Town.
Twenty appearances at Charlton, two at Luton in December 1924 during an unsuccessful trial, 25 at Gillingham and finally two at Brentford showed admirable determination but ultimately no long term contract.
Albert passed away in Gillingham in 1973.
