Andy Pearson

Andy Pearson Date of Birth: Nov 19, 1960

Andy came up through the ranks at Luton, signing professional forms in November 1978 under the watchful eye of David Pleat.

After earning good reviews in the Hatters reserve side, Andy eventually made his first team debut coming on as substitute for Steve White at QPR in March 1980. The Town were 0-2 down at the time but the substitution worked as Andy’s performance on the wing inspired his side to a 2-2 draw in front of the cameras.

He was rewarded with a start at home to Burnley the following week but with mercurial winger David Moss returning from injury that was as good as it got for Andy who left for Hitchin Town the following summer and then on to a career in the police force.
