Archibald Brown

Born in Falkirk, Archibald turned out for his local side before moving south to Millwall in 1911.

The death, from peritonitis, of Luton full-back Sammy Wightman after receiving a kick to the stomach at Brighton at the back end of the 1911-12 season saw Archibald signed as an emergency replacement. He played the final three games of that campaign at right back before returning to Millwall and then drifting back to Scotland.
