Arthur Garrett

Born in Luton in 1876, Arthur was a versatile local amateur who helped the Town’s reserves when called upon and won four Bedfordshire Senior Cup winners medals between 1899 and 1904 for his troubles.

He was also called up for a solitary Football League game in 1899-1900 when he played at right-half and made two appearances in the Southern League at left-half the following season.

A straw hat worker all his life, Arthur passed away in Pulloxhill in 1953.
