Bill William Miller Date of Birth: Mar 31, 1908 Share "Bill Miller" on FacebookBorn in Stockport in 1908, Bill became Harold Wightman’s first signing in the summer of 1931 after becoming the Town’s new manager.
Joining from Bolton reserves the big centre-half started off the 1931-32 season in that position but immediately lost his place to Hugh McGinnigle and from then on was only used as cover.
Bill left Luton for Runcorn in 1932 and tried his luck with a number of clubs in the north-west before finishing up at Lancaster City.
Bill passed away in Stockport in 1974 after a long illness.
