Bob Graham

Robert Currie Graham Date of Birth: Aug 25, 1900

Born in Muirkirk, Scotland in 1900, Bob was playing for Kilwinning Rangers when he was spotted by the Town who beat a host of other clubs for his signature in the summer of 1921.

A fast, tough tackling and clever full-back who could play on either side and was an expert in the offside trap, Bob had to wait for his chance but once established in the side he was one of the first names on the teamsheet for several seasons.

After losing his place to Henry Kingham and David Richards he joined Norwich in May 1929 and gave two seasons good service to the Canaries before moving to the ill-fated Thames FC.

Bob finished his playing career with Bedford Town and passed away in Kilwinning in 1965.
