Bryan Small

Bryan Small Date of Birth: Nov 15, 1971

Quick and tenacious full-back Bryan started off as a Youth Trainee at Aston Villa before eventually making his League debut for the Villains at Everton in October 1991 and going on to win 12 England Under-21 caps whilst at Villa Park.

Eventually Bryan found his first team chances dwindling and so transferred to Bolton to help them rise to the Premiership where he found his appearances limited once more leading to a three month loan move to injury struck Luton in September 1997 to cover for long term absentee Mitchell Thomas.

Bryan acquitted himself well at Luton with his foraging runs down the left wing but finances dictated that he could not stay. He signed for Bury in January 1998 and finished his League career at Stoke.

Bryan then turned to coaching and subsequently ran a coaching school in Aldridge.
