Cameron McGeehan

Cameron was born in Kingston upon Thames and started his football adventure by joining up with the Fulham academy in 2003. He stayed in London, moving to Chelsea in 2005 and staying in the blues academy until 2011 when he would leave to join Norwich. McGeehan first tasted professional football with the Hatters after heading to Kenilworth Road on an initial 1 month loan spell in January 2014. After impressing manager John Still his loan spell was extended until the end of the season. Cameron would score his first goal in a Town shirt in April 2014, scoring the only goal in a 1-0 win over Aldershot. In January 2015 McGeehan was sent out on a short loan once again, this time to Cambridge United. From his time at Cambridge, he most notably played 90 minutes during a shock 0-0 draw with Manchester United in the FA Cup.  

In February 2015, he made a return to Luton on loan with a view to a permanent transfer, stating that he had wanted to return to Kenilworth Road the moment he had left. The following summer, McGeehan moved permanently to Luton Town. His time at the Hatters was very successful, scoring many important goals such as a last minute equaliser in the EFL Cup against Stoke, who were competing in the Premier League at the time. Unfortunately his Luton career came to a premature end against Portsmouth in January 2017 where he suffered a broken leg, once recovered, and the season finished, he joined Barnsley for an undisclosed fee. 

He would spend 3 years at Oakwell, but moved out on loan to both Scunthorpe and Portsmouth, once he fell down the pecking order at Barnsley. McGeehan came back to haunt Luton though, scoring in a 3-2 win for Barnsley over the Town during the 2018/19 season. In August 2020 he moved overseas to join Belgian side Oostende, where he stayed for 3 seasons, before moving on a free transfer to League 2 side Colchester United.
