Luton Town used six goalkeepers over the course of the 2002/03 season with probably the best being big Frenchman Cedric Berthelin.

Signed initially on a two month contract, the ex-Lens shot stopper made a shaky Hatters debut in a 3-2 win at Stockport but eight games later had done enough for manager Joe Kinnear to offer him an 18 month deal.

Unfortunately, finances dictated that the offer had to be withdrawn with Cedric then moving on to Crystal Palace where he starred in an epic win at Liverpool in the F.A.Cup.

Cedric later moved to Belgian sides Mons and Ostend before becoming goalkeeping coach at Charleroi.
