Claude Watson

An amateur with Tottenham, Claude made only one Western League appearance in 1906-07 but rather than give up on him completely kept an eye on him whilst he played for Tufnell Park.

He continued to play for Spurs reserves and Tufnell Park for the next few years before being offered a months trial at Luton in November 1910. He played three successive games at left back, replacing the injured Ted Potts, but with ten goals conceded in those matches he was not retained.

Claude was last heard of at Crystal Palace during the war years.
