Cody Drameh

Cody Callum Pierre Drameh Date of Birth: Dec 8, 2001

London-born Cody Drameh experienced a youth career at Fulham in West London. Cody left Fulham in 2020 to join Yorkshire giants Leeds United. Drameh spent the majority of the 2020/21 season in the youth team at Leeds before his breakthrough in 2021, making his professional debut for Leeds in October 2021 where he started in a 0-2 loss against Arsenal in the Carabao Cup.

Drameh also featured in total 5 games for Leeds often as a substitute before being loaned out to Cardiff City for the second half of the 2021/22 season. It was with the Bluebirds where he made his name in the Championship, becoming a popular and dynamic right back, with interest reported from higher up the pyramid, as well as overseas.

The first half of the 2022/23 season, Cody was trying but failing to force his way into Leeds’ Premier League squad, therefore in January 2023, Cody joined the Hatters on loan until the end of the 2022/23 season. Drameh shone at right-back for Luton and created and provided some very important moments in Luton’s journey for promotion to the Premier League. Drameh was a regular in the starting lineup and played an integral part in the Championship play-off final at Wembley, playing all 120 minutes of the game at Wembley.

Cody made 19 appearances for the Hatters before returning to Leeds, who were at this point competing in the Championship, still unable to force his way into the first team, Cody opted for a loan move to Birmingham City for the 2023/24 season, experiencing relegation from the Championship, just one season after experiencing promotion.
