Courtney Pitt

Courtney Leon Pitt Date of Birth: Dec 17, 1981

After working his way up through the youth ranks at Chelsea alongside the likes of John Terry, quicksilver winger Courtney was offered a £200,000 move to Portsmouth in 2001 and was virtually ever-present in his first season there.

New manager Harry Redknapp brought in his own players which left Courtney sidelined, and he jumped at the chance to join Luton on loan at the start of the 2003-4 campaign.

He played reasonably well at Kenilworth Road but was not retained at the end of his loan period and instead went on to sign on for Oxford United and then on to Boston.

Courtney went on to have a long spell at Cambridge United, playing as a wing back, before winding down his career at several non-League clubs.
