Craig Hinton
Craig Hinton Date of Birth: Nov 26, 1977 Share "Craig Hinton" on FacebookCraig signed for Luton Town on a loan deal towards the end of November from Northampton Town, to provide cover for the injured Shane Blackett. Craig had previously spent his career with Kidderminster Harriers and Bristol Rovers, making over 200 appearances with Harriers, helping them to promotion to the Football League. During the month or so that Craig was at Kenilworth Road, he only made two appearances for Luton in the FA Trophy First Round, playing two full matches in the 0-0 home draw against Welling United & in the 2-1 away win in the replay. He appeared in two FA Cup matches and two Blue Square Premier matches as an unused substitute before returning to Northampton, with Richard Money not finding it necessary to displace George Pilkington or Zdenek Kroca from the team.
Upon returning to Sixfields, Hinton made no further appearances for the Cobblers and had a brief stint as assistant manager at Bristol Rovers, before moving to Solihull Moors the next season as a player-coach. He retired from playing in the summer of 2012 and moved into coaching permanently, taking on youth team coaching roles at West Bromwich Albion & Northampton Town before moving into educating coaches for the FA.
