Danny Green
Danny Green Date of Birth: Jul 9, 1988 Share "Danny Green" on FacebookBorn Harlow, Essex. Danny spent his youth years at Charlton and Northampton Town. A right sided midfielder/winger he signed for Nottingham Forest in 2006 but did not make the first team. A season at Bishop’s Stortford was followed by 2 years at Dagenham and Redbridge. 97 appearances and 27 goals brought him to the attention of Charlton where he stayed for 3 seasons. Unable to hold down a regular place, Danny went out on loan to MK Dons and the move was made permanent in the Summer of 2014.
Luton manager John Still knew Danny from their time together at Dagenham and signed him in the Summer of 2015. He knew Danny was a good crosser of the ball and scored goals and he made his debut in the first game of the next season away to Accrington Stanley. He made 30 appearances and scored 6 goals that season which was ended by a broken leg at Northampton Town on the 30th April 2016. Danny missed the whole of the following season and then was released by new manager Nathan Jones.
A trial with Port Vale came to nothing but Conference South Chelmsford City took Danny on where he made 36 appearances scoring 6 goals. On to Concord Rangers also in Conference South where he made 171 appearances scoring 21 goals in just over 4 seasons. Danny left the club in October 2022.
