Dave Beaumont

David Alan Beaumont Date of Birth: Dec 10, 1963

After understudying Scottish International pair David Narey and Paul Hegarty at Dundee United, Edinburgh born David accepted a £150,000 move to Luton in January 1989 and stepped straight into the Hatters side that beat West Ham 3-0 in a Littlewoods Cup semi-final first leg.

Such was his assured performance that day at the heart of the Luton defence alongside Steve Foster he became a regular in the side for over two top-flight seasons at Kenilworth Road.

After losing his place during the relegation season of 1991/92 he moved on to Hibernian for £110,000 where he graced the Scottish Premier League for three more years.

David then enjoyed a long career as a police officer in Fife.
