Dean Crowe

Dean Anthony Crowe Date of Birth: Jun 6, 1979

Mobile and speedy forward Dean signed on for Stoke from school and was regarded as one to watch, with the teenager starring in his early days in the Potters side.

He was, though, unable to maintain this momentum and after moving out on loan to three clubs signed for Luton Town on a free-transfer in September 2001.

Signed as a replacement for the injured Carl Griffiths, Dean was virtually ever present as the Hatters won promotion from Division Three and finished second top scorer behind his strike partner Steve Howard.

In his second season at Kenilworth Road, the signing of Tony Thorpe and injury problems saw Dean move down the pecking order followed by an eventual transfer to Oldham in 2004.

Dean then turned out briefly for Stockport, Leek and Witton Albion before bringing his playing days to a close at New Mills..
