Douglas Needham

Douglas Needham

Born in Clerkenwell in 1921, Douglas was an amateur forward who turned out for the Town during the last war-time season of 1945-46.

Although mostly playing second fiddle to the prolific Hugh Billington he still managed eight goals in eleven starts plus appeared in the two-legged FA Cup tie against Derby in 1946.

There is no record as to where he went in peacetime.
