Ernest Dodd

Ernest Dodd

Born in Harpenden, Ernest was an amateur international winger who played for Old Aldenhamians. He was on amateur forms for the Town ready to be called up if required but his only competitive game came in the important win at Stoke as the 1913-14 promotion season from Southern League Division Two was coming to an end.

A member of the officer training cadet corps he was killed in action during the early days of the Great War.
