Ernie Pett Date of Birth: Aug 27, 1892 Share "Ernie Pett" on FacebookBorn in Edmonton in 1892, Ernie came on trial from Athenian League side Barnet in August 1920 and played at right-half in the Town’s first game back in the Football League at Swindon in the same month.
Sadly, it turned out to be a baptism of fire as the Town went down 9-1 with Ernie not being picked again, having to spend the rest of his time in the reserves before joining St Albans.
Ernie passed away in 1953.
