Ethan broke into the first team in 2015 spent two seasons as number one at Molde. He impressed in Norway and earned himself a move to Belgian giants Club Brugge.
In his five years with Brugge, he won three titles as well as appearing in the Champions League and on the international stage with the USA National team. In 2021, Horvath moved away from Belgium and to England to join Nottingham Forest. Ethan couldn’t break into the team at Forest and was loaned out to the Hatters for the 2022/23 season.
At Luton, Horvath was the starting goalkeeper for Luton as he featured 51 times across the season. He made some crucial saves and played a big part in the journey to Wembley. Ethan kept 19 clean sheets, making up one of the best defences in the Championship. After the Hatters were promoted, Horvath returned to Nottingham Forest where upon still being unable to break into the first team squad, decided it was time to leave, moving to Cardiff City on a permanent transfer.
