Frank Hull

Frank Hull Date of Birth: Oct 26, 1895

Born in Dunstable in 1895, Frank played for Dunstable United and Luton Albion before being called up to the Queens Hussars Cavalry Division in the Great War playing for the regiment in France.

After a successful trial, he was signed on by the Town on amateur forms in 1919 so he could play for the reserves as well as Luton Amateurs. Called up to deputise at full-back in the first team towards the end of the 1920-21 campaign he did enough to justify being retained as all three games he played in finished 0-0, but was not kept on and tried his luck at the newly formed Torquay United before finishing his playing career at Waterlows.
Frank passed away in St Albans in 1958
