Fred Hensman

Fred Hensman

Born in Luton in 1893, Fred did the rounds of local football and was on the books of the Town as a reserve team player leading up to the outbreak of the Great War.

Once hostilities had ceased, Fred played four games on the left wing as the 1919-20 Southern League season opened followed by a solitary outing at left-back later on in the campaign but was not retained. He continued to play for Luton Clarence and St Albans for a number of years.
