George Perrins
George Perrins Date of Birth: Feb 24, 1873 Share "George Perrins" on FacebookBorn in Birmingham in 1873, George joined Newton Heath (Manchester United) when still a teenager and for three years was a regular at right-half until an inexplicable loss of form saw him lose his place.
Joining Luton in 1896, to meet up again with former colleagues James Coupar and Bill Stewart, he showed some forceful tackling but was never a regular in the side in his two years with the club.
Leaving for ill-fated Chatham in 1898 he finished his career with a flourish at Stockport County.
George passed away in 1947
