George Storey

George Christoper Storey Date of Birth: Oct 26, 1877

Born in Liverpool in 1879, George was on the books of Everton as a youth but made his name at Aberystwyth and Oswestry where he won Welsh Cup winners medals.

A forward who could play along the line, George turned professional with Bury but managed only three games there before coming to Luton in the summer of 1903.

After scoring on his debut he managed five goals in fifteen starts and was forming a good partnership with James McKee before Peter Turner was signed and took his spot.

Allowed to leave in February 1904, George had a short spell at Fulham before finishing up at Stockport.
