Gerry Harrison

Gerald Randall Harrison Date of Birth: Apr 15, 1972

Starting off as youth trainee at Watford, Gerry made his League debut as a 17 year old for the Hornets but it was while at Bristol City and then Burnley that he earned regular football.

A move to Luton on a ‘Bosman’ free transfer in 1998 was virtually agreed until Sunderland stepped in but Gerry contracted hepatitis soon after relocating to the North-East and found his chances limited. Luton got their man on loan later that season and he put in several all-action displays in midfield as well as taking over in goal on one occasion whilst at Kenilworth Road.

The Town could not afford to keep him and he eventually finished his League career at Halifax. Gerry later went on to play several seasons at Hyde United.
