Gordon Hindson
Gordon Hindson Date of Birth: Jan 8, 1950 Share "Gordon Hindson" on FacebookGordon was a player who had all the attributes necessary to become a top quality midfielder or winger, possessing speed, ball control and a fierce shot but he rarely grabbed a game by the scruff of the neck.
Allowed to leave by first club Newcastle, Gordon signed for Luton in 1971 for £27,500 but was never a true regular at Kenilworth road despite making 68 League appearances in just under four years.
After a loan spell at Carlisle, Gordon signed for Blackburn but a broken ankle ended his League career and he returned to the north-east where he played for and coached a variety of non-League clubs while embarking on a career in Sports and Leisure Centre management.
