Harry Pacey

Harry Pacey Date of Birth: Dec 2, 1912

Born in Clophill in 1912, Harry was regarded as an outstanding prospect playing on the wing for an ordinary St Albans side leading to him coming to Kenilworth Road in the summer of 1932.

After biding his time in the reserves, Harry got his chance, replacing Arthur Mills in a 1-0 defeat at Northampton and made three further appearances later on the season. Never on a winning side and regarded as being a little lightweight for League football he left for Bedford Town at the season’s end but did return for a few wartime games in 1941-42.

Harry passed away in Luton in 1984.
