Herve Bacque

Herve Bacque Date of Birth: Jul 13, 1976

Bordeaux born Herve came to Luton on trial from AS Monaco in the summer of 1998 and won the supporters over with a couple of brilliant displays in pre-season games at Kenilworth Road against Arsenal and Coventry.

It may have been fan power that forced Luton manager Lennie Lawrence’s hand to sign the slight forward but it soon became obvious that Herve did not like the ‘muck and bullets’ of lower-League football and after only a handful of games he moved on to Motherwell.

Herve then returned to France where he turned out for several clubs.
