Hilton Sidney Date of Birth: Apr 14, 1895 Share "Hilton Sidney" on FacebookBorn in Horden, County Durham in 1895, Hilton was playing for the local Athletic side when he was asked to come to Luton in the summer of 1920, along with his good friend Billy Walsh, as cover for Irish international left-winger Louis Bookman.
Due to the consistency of Bookman, Hilton only played twice that season but was able to show that he was a skilful winger in his own right. Seeing further chances limited he left for Mansfield Town, then a top Midland League side.
