Ian Allinson
Ian James Robert Allinson Born: 1st October 1957 From: Share "Ian Allinson" on FacebookHitchin born Ian had racked up over 300 appearances for Colchester, who he had joined from school, when he was amazingly snapped up by Arsenal on a free transfer in 1983.
Although never a regular at Highbury he made over a century of appearances for the Gunners before moving to Stoke and then on to Luton in October 1987.
A clever footballer, Ian weighed in with some vital goals for the Hatters but was sadly cup-tied for the successful Littlewoods cup run.
After returning to Colchester, where he finished his League career, Ian has managed Baldock, Stotfold, Borehamwood and St Albans.
