Jock Ramage
Jock John Ramage Date of Birth: Oct 4, 1899 Share "Jock Ramage" on FacebookBorn in Lasswade, Scotland in 1898, Jock had played his early football for Bonnyrigg Rose before winning a move to Hearts from where he came south to Coventry in 1926.
A big, strong centre-half he broke a leg early in his Coventry career and spent over a year recovering and by the time he was fit was no longer a first team regular. With the Town needing a replacement for the injured John Fulton he gladly signed in January 1928 and was then promptly injured himself!
John did eventually get a run of games in the side but lost his place to the recovered Fulton and departed back to Hearts at the end of the season.
