John Hunt
John Hunt Share "John Hunt" on FacebookBorn in Luton in 1861, John was an Excelsior man who captained the side. He was a founder member of the Town club in 1885 and was the first Treasurer, a position he held until 1892.
As well as his administrative duties he also played as a full-back for Town in the club’s early days and turned out intermittently until 1888.
John was a ‘straw goods manufacturer’ by profession.
