John Pearson Date of Birth: Jan 22, 1892 Share "John Pearson" on FacebookBorn in Arbroath in 1892, John was signed by Tottenham from his home town team in 1913 and had made his League debut before the Great War placed a hold on his career.
Resuming with Spurs once hostilities had ceased he played enough games to earn a medal as promotion to the top flight was won but was soon relegated to the reserves from where he came to Luton in the summer of 1923.
A big full-back he played only once for the Town before admitting he had lost his ‘edge’ and returned to Arbroath.
John passed away in Arbroath in 1937.
