Len Rich

Leonard Thomas Rich Date of Birth: Nov 3, 1912

Born in Camelford in 1912, Len had just broken into the Plymouth Argyle side when the Town made a four man swoop on the Pilgrims in February 1936 to boost their squad in a late bid for promotion.

Joe enjoyed a run in the side on the right wing, where he showed speed and skill, after signing as the Town missed out, but in the following campaign he became an understudy to John Hodge and later Ted Hancock. Kept on for a further season without breaking into the first team he left in the summer of 1938 for Exeter and enjoyed a good season there before signing for Stockport as War broke out.

Len guested for Plymouth during the War and passed away in 1994.
