After breaking through at Gillingham, Freeman joined Arsenal in 2008. During his time at Arsenal, Luke was loaned to various clubs such as Yeovil Town and Stevenage before he left the Gunners to join Stevenage permanently in 2012.
Luke spent two successful seasons with Stevenage before joining Bristol City in League One. He then spent three years at Ashton Gate and later spent three years at QPR. Freeman then had time with Sheffield United, Nottingham Forest and Millwall before joining the Hatters.
In his first season with Luton, he made 26 appearances, scoring 2 goals as the Hatters were promoted to the Premier League. Freeman’s two goals came against Cardiff City and QPR early in the season. Luke was released at the end of the 2022/23 season, with the Hatters promoted to the Premier League, moving to Barnet who compete in the National League.
