He made the first team 53 times in the next three seasons scoring 6 goals from midfield. He was loaned out to Lewes and twice to Eastbourne in that time. His time at Gillingham was his longest stay with a club as 16 more clubs would follow including Luton Town in 2014.
Signed from Maidstone United in March 2014 Luke came on as an 82nd minute substitute in the 3 0 win over Chester. He started his first match on the 8th April 2014 when Tamworth were beaten 2 0. A creative midfielder not afraid to take on opponents, hopes were high that he would maintain his place. A knee injury, however, kept him out for a period and he struggled for fitness so was released in January 2015.
Luke finished the 2021/22 season as interim manager of Erith and Belvedere then moved on to be manager of Bromley based Glebe F.C. He then moved on to manage Faversham Town.
