Mark Bower

Mark Bower Date of Birth: Jan 23, 1980

Bradford born Mark started his journey in football with his hometown club Bradford City. Mark would spend the large majority of his career at the Bantams making 231 appearances during a 12 year spell.

During his time at Bradford he had loans at both York City and Luton Town, joining the Town in January 2009 on a one month loan deal making his debut in a 1-1 draw against AFC Bournemouth. Mark played all 6 matches in the first month of his loan spell, and his stay was subsequently extended by another month. His first Luton goal came in a 2-1 win over Grimsby and his loan spell was extended again after becoming a regular in the team. Bower made 16 appearances for Luton but couldn’t help save them from relegation during a doomed season, in which the Hatters were deducted 30 points.

Following his time at Luton Town he played for Darlington, Halifax and Guiseley and after retiring he had managerial spells at both Bradford Park Avenue and his former club Guiseley.
