Mark Pembridge

Mark Anthony Pembridge Date of Birth: Nov 29, 1970

Mark was one of a procession of players who was spotted by Luton Town’s South Wales scout Cyril Beach and went on to join the Hatters, signing professional forms in July 1989.

A left sided midfielder with a vicious shot, Mark made his League debut on New Years Day 1991 and from then on was ever present in the Town’s Division One side, scoring some spectacular goals along the way . Following relegation, a £1.25 million bid from Derby was reluctantly accepted and the Welsh international then went on to carve out a long career for himself at the Baseball Ground then Sheffield Wednesday, Benfica, Everton and, lastly, Fulham.

After retiring from the game, Mark took on a coaching role at Craven Cottage.
