Slough born Micky joined Fulham from school but played only a handful of games in the Cottagers Division One side in four years so moved on to Millwall in 1965 where he was a regular in the team which won promotion from Division Three a year later.

Following promotion, Micky found his chances at the Den limited so stepped down a level and came to Kenilworth Road in 1967.

A short, solid forward Micky played in four different positions in his first five games for the club but was unable to stake a permanent place in the side that won the Division Four championship.

After a year at Colchester, Micky played for several non-League clubs before settling in Harrow where he became a newsagent. Micky sadly passed away in March 2021
