Mike Tracey
Mike Tracey Date of Birth: Feb 14, 1935 Share "Mike Tracey" on FacebookA qualified solicitor, Mike was playing amateur football for Crook Town, with whom he earned an Amateur Cup winners medal, when he was persuaded to turn full-time with Luton in November 1959.
After getting used to the training, Mike made his debut at centre-forward during a home defeat at the hands of Sheffield Wednesday in February 1960 but the rest of his Hatters appearances were in his favoured position on the wing.
After failing to become a regular at Kenilworth Road, Mike moved to Lincoln before turning out for Worksop and Grantham whilst practising once more as a solicitor.
Mike became a partner in a Lincoln firm of solicitors before retiring to a farm in Ireland where he passsed away in 2014.
