Pally Hale
Pally Alf Hale Date of Birth: Jan 24, 1906 Share "Pally Hale" on FacebookBorn at Kiveton Park, Rotherham in 1906, Pally joined Lincoln in 1925 and in five years there made 156 League appearances as a wing-half who was a good reader of the game, brave and a strong leader on the field.
A disagreement at Sincil Bank in 1930 saw the Town step in for his signature but in two seasons at Kenilworth Road he had difficulty in shifting the popular Charlie Fraser from his favoured position and made only 22 League appearances in total.
Leaving Luton in 1932 he enjoyed two seasons at Llanelly before moving back into the Football League for two years at Halifax.
Pally passed away in Rotherham in 1972.
